What inspired you to write?

Minor success in an international writing competition in 2007. One of my short stories finished in the top ten of a field comprising almost 2,000 entries.

Write what you know about, or what you can be reasonably sure is accurate. Writing is hard work, and if you are not prepared to put in the effort, don't expect anyone else to do so on your behalf.
